Peach : Peregrine 1 feathered maiden

Peach : Peregrine 1 feathered maiden

The best English variety! In March early pink blossoms provide eye-catching displays, followed by red flushed white skinned fruits from mid August. There is nothing better than picking a fruit and eating it fresh from the tree, enjoying the mouthwatering, sweet juicy white inner flesh. A favourite tree for wall covering. It's never been easier to grow your own mouth-watering peaches. Due to a warmer climate and modern breeding, we can now offer you a variety that is on a 'Myrobolem rootstock'. This is self fertile and will produce a highly productive tree with medium vigour, making it far easier to produce good crops of these delicious stone fruits in your gardens wherever you live in the UK. Use Dithane 945 to help deter Peach Leaf Curl.

Peach : Avalon Pride 1 bareroot tree

Peach : Avalon Pride 1 bareroot tree

The FIRST Peach leaf curl resistant variety! This unique variety was discovered as a chance seedling by a Miss Pride in woods in Washington State, near Seattle, when she noticed the seedling had incredible peach leaf-curl resistance, so she set about propagating her own tree. Avalon Pride is self-fertile with pretty pink flowers followed by large, deliciously juicy fruits from early August. Propagated onto Montclaire rootstock, which is very productive with medium vigour and makes the trees less susceptible to frost damage.
